We understand that those most proximate to a problem are also most proximate to the solution. We believe this to be true, especially for challenges in schools and communities. We believe that youth hold the key to helping us understand how to solve some of the most complex challenges in our society. We work with youth to learn from them and to amplify their thoughts and solutions

 
 

 How we work with youth

  1. Youth identify a problem in their community that they would like to address 

  2. Youth contact A7G to learn how we can  help.

  3. Together we will develop a strategy for understanding the problem in context and addressing it holistically

  4. A7G works with youth to coordinate research, interpret what is discovered, and develop a plan that is led by youth and the community they are concerned for (schools, community centers, etc). 

  5. That plan is then shared with other leaders in your community to achieve the outcomes youth identified.

 

Invite A7G to your community

There are many ways we can work together to improve your community in addition to research. We can work with your school to co-create an educational ecosystem that nurtures well-being and promotes thriving. We can support professional development needs in the areas of culturally sustaining SEL, youth voice, trauma-informed/healing-centered engagement, building a school culture of love and empowerment. We can also provide a keynote speaker for a community summit, conference, or school event.

 

We are already working with cities around the country. 

  • In New York  we are doing something special that will be explained here later. 

  • In Arizona and New Mexico we are empowering youth to research and strategize to improve education in their communities.
